Vilalara Grand Hotel Algarve

Launching consulting / Image Strategy / Art Direction / Positioning / Social Media / Storytelling

A hotel founded in 1966, destined to reclaim the remarkable splendour of its golden years, when it was one of the Algarve’s most iconic and exclusive resorts.

Vilalara holds an extraordinary legacy of natural beauty and a deep commitment to wellbeing. Its iconic architecture and renowned service, dating back to 1966, once made it a gathering place for the international artistic elite and royalty.

By 2024, the property was ready to begin a new chapter.

The new owners embraced the mission of restoring the resort to its former splendour while reviving its holistic approach to wellbeing.

vilalara goes chocolate

Vilalara Goes Chocolate was conceived as a visual statement — a subtle yet distinctive shift in the hotel’s aesthetic language.

Using the introduction of chocolate-toned umbrellas as a starting point, the campaign explores a more refined and unexpected palette designed for a guest with a sensibility beyond the obvious.Rather than presenting a product, the intervention was framed as a mood: rich, warm, slightly playful — where contemporary visual codes meet artistic expression. The result is a piece that feels both light and intentional.A moment of colour, humour and aesthetic precision — reinterpreting Vilalara through a more modern and culturally aware lens.

VIDA DA BOA

Vida da Boa was conceived as an off-season narrative capturing Vilalara beyond its open doors. A series of short stories exploring stillness, local rhythms and the quiet beauty of everyday life in the Algarve. Pure, alive and unfiltered, far from the tourist gaze. A portrait of Portugal in its most authentic, unhurried and deeply sensorial form.

positioning vilalara through wellness

We positioned Vilalara Grand Hotel Algarve as a leading wellness destination by transforming its long-standing holistic expertise into a distinctive and contemporary wellness proposition.

Through the creation of the first Vilalara Retreat, we brought together yoga, meditation, mindful movement, nutrition, spa rituals, nature immersion and curated experiences, alongside the expertise of international model and yogi Verónica Blume.

This allowed us to build a stronger narrative around conscious living, longevity and personal transformation, positioning Vilalara not simply as a luxury hotel, but as a destination for meaningful wellbeing and a deeper connection with oneself.
