The Trattoria Pantaleone project was approached as a reinterpretation of Italian tradition through a contemporary lens. Rather than documenting its culinary offering, the intention was to reveal the Mediterranean essence that defines the space — a warm, honest aesthetic deeply rooted in Italian culture.
Through photography, styling and art direction, we developed a visual language that highlights atmosphere, gesture and spatial identity, bringing forward the quiet elegance that defines the experience. A space small in scale, yet rich in character, where the mural of vintage photographs that covers the walls becomes a central narrative element — adding depth, memory and a sense of lived-in authenticity.
The objective was not to over-style, but to find the balance between authenticity and sophistication.
