The A-Costa project was approached as a study in balance between legacy and contemporaneity. The intention was to evoke the hotel’s former sense of glamour, not through nostalgia, but through a refined and contemporary visual language capable of reinterpreting its identity.

The exterior was developed around a strong Atlantic perspective, where the pool and the ocean act as a continuous backdrop. Rather than treating them as scenery, they become structuring elements — defining openness, light and a sense of horizon that anchors the project within its coastal context. The art direction builds on this dialogue between water, architecture and atmosphere, creating images that feel expansive, calm and quietly elevated.

Inside, the focus shifts towards the architectural language.
Form, volume, textures and artisanal fabrics become the core narrative elements, allowing the space to express itself through materiality and composition. The photography does not seek to enhance, but to reveal — bringing forward the intrinsic elegance of the interiors through precision and restraint. The result is a visual system that connects past and present, positioning A-Costa within a contemporary context while preserving the essence of its original character.
